The quarter gone by saw a complete reshuffle of Infosys top deck. The company appointed Vishal Sikka as its new CEO. Sikka will replace SD Shibulal, who has been at the helm of the tech major since the August 21, 2011. CNBC-TV18's Vineetha Athrey caught up with Shibulal and asked him about his plans for life after the August 1, when he will leave the IT bellwether.

Q: What are you looking at; some of you old colleagues have gone and started funds, venture capitals and so on and so forth?
A: We should have this conversation after August 1 until July 31 I have to focus on Infosys.
Q: What are some of the thoughts going after stepping out of Infosys?
A: There are already challenges in my life like the foundation and things like that, my daughter has business so there are multiple things and so, we will have this chat after August 1.
Q: As far as your role at Infosys is concerned, you have been part of the company right from the beginning. What are the thoughts that you are going back with from that perspective?
A: It has been a wonderful ride, that's the thought.

On July 11, 2014, Infosys closed at Rs 3325.80, up Rs 32.90, or 1.00 percent. The 52-week high of the share was Rs 3847.20 and the 52-week low was Rs 2690.00.
The company's trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 177.52 per share as per the quarter ended March 2014. The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 18.73. The latest book value of the company is Rs 733.03 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company is 4.54.
