Vodafone had argued that they are ready to pay any price fixed by the telecom department as the move will hurt investments of about Rs 19,000 crore.

In a setback for  Bharti Airtel and Vodafone, the Supreme Court has dismissed a petition filed by the telecom companies seeking a stay on auctioning spectrum in 6 circles.

Bharti also echoed Vodafone saying the move to revoke their licence will put Rs 25,000 crore at risk.

However, the apex court rejected their petition.

On January 09, 2015, Bharti Airtel closed at Rs 356.40, down Rs 4.75, or 1.32 percent. The 52-week high of the share was Rs 419.90 and the 52-week low was Rs 282.10.


The company's trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 27.40 per share as per the quarter ended September 2014. The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 13.01. The latest book value of the company is Rs 166.93 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company is 2.14.
