Kingfisher must satisfy DGCA before Dec 31: Ajit Singh

After Kingfisher Airlines told its lenders yesterday that the carrier is ready to resume partial operations by February, aviation minister Ajit Singh reacted on the move.

"Kingfisher must satisfy DGCA with a credible revival plan to get its licence renewed," adds Singh.

DGCA hasn't received anything yet, he has to satisfy the aviation regulatory authority that he has enough financial strength to maintain the schedule that he gives and safety will not be compromised which he hasn't done yet.

The licence of Kingfisher Airlines will expire on December 31 , 2012. The airline is therefore up for a renewal this month.
