The company, however, must first agree on the increase with officials from the states it supplies electricity to.
On October 17, 2013, Tata Power Company closed at Rs 78.75, down Rs 0.55, or 0.69 percent. The 52-week high of the share was Rs 113.20 and the 52-week low was Rs 68.25.
The company's trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 0.45 per share as per the quarter ended June 2013. The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 175. The latest book value of the company is Rs 6.07 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was 12.97.
